Hello, I need a client and server made in C#. Basic details are: - TCP based - Chat [with username] - chat room + private - File transfer - Asynchronous That's about it! The server only needs to be a console, and MUST be done in MonoDevelop for compatibility with Linux. The client needs to be a Windows forms application, but a crappy UI will do. MUST be in Visual C# '08. My budget is a little low right now, but if this project is successful, I'll keep in touch with you and give you bonus payments in the very near future. We already have a project that implement text chat in a chat room, it was also implemented using c#, the difference between your request is that it was developped in VS.2008, not Mono, and there is no file transfer feature. But we could easily port server to Mono and add file transfer feature.
