Android Orientation Rotation Slow Response Task.
We are having issues with an Android Tablet Orientation Rotation.
1. When we rotate the Table it takes 1-2 Seconds for the Rotation Animation/Transition to respond/start. We would like that to be close to instant as possible.
2. Also, when the Animation/Transition starts, it's not so smooth. We would like to have a smooth Animation/Transition, if it's possible like the iOS.
NOTE: This is not an Android App project,
but optimize/patch Android OS code project.

Android Orientation Rotation Slow Response Task.
We are having issues with an Android Tablet Orientation Rotation.

The issue 1, is same with the link below:
"Screen Rotation on Galaxy Nexus is very slow"

We have found out that the "WindowOrientationListener::onSensorChanged(SensorEvent event)"
works OK and response very quickly (20 millsecs).
We assume the Issues is somewhere with the Lock/Freeze of screen/windows.
The Orientation rotation problems is only when in Main Menu (App Launcher) and Home Screen
We are using Android 4.1.1.r1.
the code is the Native Google code: Android [login to view URL]
"repo init -u [login to view URL] -b android-4.1.1_r1".
We would prefer if the fix/optimization is done on Android OS(Java) level:
For example:
"\frameworks\base\services\java\com\android\server\wm\[login to view URL]",
"\frameworks\base\core\java\android\view\[login to view URL]"
"\frameworks\base\services\java\com\android\server\wm\[login to view URL]".
Otherwise in Android OS (C++) would also be OK,
(if that will fix the problem).
Once we receive the code/files,
we will tests & verify if all are good,
then project is complete.
We are open for any comments & thoughts.
The developer need to know how to develop NDK/kernel,
so it can patch the Android OS.
Also,
will need to have a Android Tablet to do tests and
verify the working code/patch.
Most Android Devices have the same issue,
so it will be ok to use any other Android Devices with the same problem .
NOTE: This is not an Android App project,
but optimize/patch Android OS code project.
Please only submit your bit if you think you can deliver.
