We have been developing android application since almost a year. We have released two android application in android market place. IPL Schedule 2010 and MetersToInches. Aparts from that we are also developing a mobile inventory control applcation on Android. We have android devices to test our applications. Samsung i7500 and HTC Tatoo.

Scott, I think you have a good idea for an Android app. A few questions that I have, is this for your own business, or are the prices general estimates for the type of service? Are you expecting to user to enter their engine make, model and year, or just enter a general type? Android apps do have the capability to store an XML file with prices/services, so that is not an issue. I have some additional ideas as to how to further development of this app, but would want to communicate with you in greater detail to learn about your plans. My development style puts functionality over style. You can view an Android app that I created for my personal use in the Android Market; search for 'TrailMaps'. I gave an estimate of 14 days to complete the project, but this depends on the actual scope of the project and your needs. Feel free to contact me with additional questions.
