Hi, We have pfsense firewall at all locations. We would like to setup SITE-to-site multi-site openVPN connection, such that all devices in any location can talk to any device on the other network. For the purposes of this order, we need you to help setup in 3 locations and we will do the other locations. The remote user access will work with LDAP - this is setup and is working. I am trying to set up pfsense as a OpenVPN gateway for two types of users: The first one: I will want it that a user can dial into it and then their web browsing to a particular website will be routed through the pfsense device. So they show that IP, I guess like a proxy. I would want all in and out communication to just go through the WAN port, no access to the second NIC. Th second one: Will once they connect have access to the local network that is plugged into the second NIC of the pfsense box. Please mention the word cat to verify that you read the entire project.
This is a nice project! I have a Pfsense box running (2.2.6-RELEASE (amd64) ) with Squid proxy server 3.4, the objective of this project is to configure videocache () in order to store locally the popular videos from different video providers e.g. Youtube, Vimeo, etc. and avoid to download them more than once. If you have experience with these platforms this is for you. Now, if you know some other solution for this problem, you can propose it and I will make the decision, I mean, Pfsense and squid may be replaced with a similar solution it the video cache works.
