I am fluent in English (TOEFL score 108/120, top 5% on Freelancer.com certification tests), and I have extensive experience as a writer in Serbian and English, including articles, e-books and academic writing. I have written multiple academic texts, including 2 theses, in both languages. As a pianist, I have performed solo, as soloist with orchestras, conductor, singer (incl. choir soloist), chamber musician, and collaborative pianist. In addition, I have experience with various non-classical music genres, as a singer and playing keyboards, guitar and bass. In addition to my experience and expertise as a pianist, I have formal education and professional experience as a music theorist and analyst. I have considerable experience with engraving using Sibelius (incl. 21-century music as well as large-scale vocal-instrumental works like Verdi's Requiem), teaching theory and music analysis, recording and editing in Cubase (using VSTi) and Audacity. In recent years, I have started to move more into music technology. This includes integrating XML exported from Sibelius, PDF scores, MIDI and audio tracks into an up-and-coming music app (under NDA) using custom in-house software, with a very steep learning curve that I successfully mastered. I am fluent in Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian and English (TOEFL ibt score 108), I speak basic to intermediate Hungarian and Czech, basic Norwegian and I have a rudimentary knowledge of French, German, Italian and a number of Slavic languages. In my Master's degree studies the tuition was in English, and I wrote a well-received thesis, which I edited and proofread myself. I have extensive experience as a freelance writer (mostly in English) of content ranging from online quizzes and such all the way to multiple series of e-books (several dozen in total) that I have ghostwritten. I also have professional experience in translation from English to Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian and vice versa. I consider myself a bright, open-minded person, as well as a diligent and creative worker. I always see assignments as challenges and opportunities to excel. I have a punctual frame of mind and an absolute laser-focused approach to work. This means no distractions and no slowing down until the designated portion of work is finished. I find it much easier to avoid errors than to correct them later. menos
