We are The Auto Hangar, a small automotive dealership focused on mid tier luxury and performance vehicles, based out of an aircraft hangar where we also happen to restore WW2 fighter planes! The vision for the company is: To become the trusted, enthusiasts automotive destination for performance and luxury automotive sales.

Our brand is all about integrity, honesty, and above all else, attention to detail. We are obsessive OCD car guys who spend hours polishing/working on our cars, and our customers can expect the same attention to detail from our inventory. We hated the traditional dealership experience, which drove us to create our vision of the solution. No hard sells, no back-n-forth, no waiting games. We are enthusiasts, not salesman. We all have decade+ experience in drag, road, and auto-x racing, and are able to provide our customers with domain knowledge unmatched by traditional car salesman.

We are open to creativity and are shying away from sharing our own ideas for the logo. We don't want to stifle the creativity of those with grander vision than us, so we will refrain from asking for specifics. We want this company to be more than just a dealership, rather a brand and we want our logo to be something that can apply to any evolution this brand might undergo in the future. Don't be afraid to experiment with different fonts, colours, and styles. Please remember that this logo will be utilized on everything from a store front, social media, print materials, embroidered on a shirt, to the side of a company car. It needs to maintain its design integrity in various sizes and applications.

Requirements: Primary logo, secondary logo (optional if the primary logo can be utilized easily for thumbnails and social media), and watermark. No set color palette at this time so we are open to the entire rainbow of possibilities.

    Since so many people just copy the same design from each other over and over and over again, I have sealed the contest. I want to see some out-of-the-box ideas. Don't be afraid to experiment with different fonts, colours, and styles. I would love to see some more minimalist options (that said, if you have a different vision - please don't hesitate to share it). Remember that this logo will be utilized on everything from a store front, social media, print materials, embroidered on a shirt, to the side of a company car. It needs to maintain its design integrity in various sizes and applications.

      I appreciate the invitation. I'll consider it. But it seems you've made up your mind already.

      About the copycats... Next time don't seal the contest. Just keep ratings to yourself and they will have nothing to copy from. Most of participants are driven by feedback. If you see something you can relate to, just message that person and work it out.

      Another thing, if you seal you are risking selecting a stolen/copied logo that could have been reported.

      Thank you for the consideration! Honestly, we have not made up our mind, not even close. We are very much still open to interpretation for this design.

      Thank you for the advice. It is our first attempt at a contest on this site so we weren't sure exactly how best to operate it and when we kept seeing similar styles over and over, we thought sealing it was the only way to prevent that. We will definitely keep your suggestions in mind if the need for a future contest arises.

    Lets not forget the automotive aspect of this, at the end, this will be a car dealership. I see a lot of focus on aircraft (which is great), but some completely omit automotive. For SILHOUETTES of aircraft please use P51. For SILHOUTTES of cars, please use 2013 Dodge Viper as inspiration.
