Uber Driver Buddy is a training manual (iBook) scheduled for release in 2-3 weeks. It is a job guide for rideshare (e.g. UberX, Lyft), taxicab and town car drivers using real time ride-booking apps (e.g. Uber, Lyft, Sidecar) to make money. The iBook needs a professional cover design that is not too "busy", as the iBook appears as a thumbnail on the iBook Store shelf and the text needs to be discernible as a thumbnail. As well, it is a global product and many readers will not have English as a first language or come from a western background. Given this, the iBook cover just needs to be simple, colourful and easy for someone with English as a 2nd, 3rd or 4th language to identify and read.

An example cover is attached which contains all required text (Helvetica Neue Light please), text size and icon images - you must incorporate the icon images in your design please.

Also attached are other files and images you can choose to work with. If you want to use a color background please use the orange or mustard backgrounds provided as these will be the iBook's corporate colors (see the "All devices" file for a better idea of what the corporate colours look like). Alternatively you may like to feature one of the photos of Los Angeles or an iPhone vector with the Uber, Lyft and Sidecar app icons in it.

The design needs to be submitted as a high resolution .jpg and .png files or using the attached iBook Author template file. To use the template, you will need an iMac or Macbook and to download iBooks Author - its a free app and very easy to use. You need to use the iBook Author template as it has graphic design limitations when compared with other software packages.

To win your cover needs to be better than the example, but not necessarily too different. And all text must be included and be readable as a iBook Store thumbnail.
