This is a project for our school in which we want to make a series of new posters that have the same "look and feel" of an existing poster. The original designer went into another field so we are looking for a new designer who can make posters of similar design. I am uploading the model we would like you to use (10 Coolest Careers). And the text we want on the new poster.

And a couple of changes to the text:

1. The Title is now CHAMPS rather than CHASM and the words are CHAMPS: Cybersecurity Honors Academy & Mastery Program at SANS
2. The words “4 top 6 months” should be “4 to 6 months”
3. “Are you one of the top 5% of candidates?” should be “Are you one of the top 5% of college students interested in cybersecurity?”

B. The most important is step 3 and the roles (you can see them also in the 10 coolest careers poster model I posted) so those should be more emphasized than the other steps. You can add text from the poster about each of the jobs if you have space.

C. Changing from large fonts all caps case to smaller upper/lower case fonts for the titles of the 4 steps is confusing – (only two people did that)

D. On the model I sent, most of the text is either black or it is white on a color background. Too much use of color on white background makes it harder to read.

E. The title font in the model is VERY bold – most of the entries used fonts that do not cover as much space. We really like the title font in the model. If you know how to use it, that would help.

Clarifications and corrections.

Out of 19 entries, yours is one of 7 in the running for the $140 award. I wanted to give you some reactions to the designs that might help you improve it. I want to treat all entries equally so some of these might not apply to yours, but they might still help you.

A. The process is a flow in 4 steps – your design should reflect that order
1. Qualifying in two steps – they have to do the first before they do the 2nd
2. Mastering Foundations
3. Choosing role/completing the courses
4. Top off with communications skills courses (there are two such courses – effective security writing and great security presentations.
