RESIDENTIAL BUILDING PROJECT
ATTN: Designers, Architects, and/or Engineers
Looking to have residential buildings ORIGINALLY designed in 2-D illustrations as well as 3-D renderings of the interior and exterior designs. These buildings are to be constructed from concrete slabs (not block), designed to be Hurricane Proof with a Modern/Contemporary Design in line with High End style and finishes. The buildings should make the best use of Natural Light without the excessive use of Glass elements. Please provide fully furnished interior design and exterior accents. WARNING! YOU WILL BE REPORTED IF YOU SUBMIT NON-ORIGINAL, STOLEN WORK!!!

Description: BEACHFRONT SETTING

Building #1
• 3 Story Apartment Building
• 4 – One Bedroom/One Bath units per floor, for a total of 12 apartments in the building.
• Each apartment to have an interior area of 850 sq.ft.
• Fully equipped kitchen, living space, bedroom and bath
• Each apartment to have its own private balcony/patio space – not to be included in the 850 sq.ft.
• No elevators

Building #2
• 3 Story Apartment Building
• 2 – Two Bedroom/ Two Bath units per floor, for a total of 6 apartments in the building.
• Each apartment to have an interior area of 1,300 sq.ft.
• Fully equipped kitchen, living space, bedrooms and baths
• Each apartment to have its own private balcony/patio space – not to be included in the 1,300 sq.ft.
• No elevators

Design style and architecture is open to artistic/creative capabilities. The most favored design will be chosen and continually worked with to modify and customize until final satisfaction and completion.

Hi Check out out #84 and #83 . The video that i was talking about, i was not able to upload it here, therefor i upload it to my youtube channel: http://youtu.be/ngoWnoLw3q0 . Please note that Hibbsketchup is my own non-established dream company. I hope you like my unique way of presenting the idea. As previously said, i have the plan ready for building 2, however no point me wasting my time creating if you dont like building 1 as they will be in similar style.

As i created this in very few hours there will be mistakes or ideas missing, if you do find anything, let me know. If you want to try with additional objects or elements ( such as: swimming pool ) then let me know, i will update the renderings.

All Entries, please provide the exterior dimensions of your submissions so that they may be evaluated for size and I will be better able to comment and provide feedback. Also, consider using the rooftop space as an outdoor space for the building's residents to include outdoor grilling area, lounging, and hot tub/jacuzzi. Thanks!

  Good, we may consider the wind load as per requirement. However, please share your design life expectation. I do concern not only on good view looking but also acceptable on engineering basis

  Yes, you may consider wind loads although winds are only high in cases of tropical storms, hurricanes, etc..... This is not a very common occurrence in the region but definitely a possibility. The design should have a long life expectancy with a minimum of 20 years. Thank you for keeping the engineering factors in mind.

From comments received, as well as review of the brief, I have realized that I should mention: These units will be applied to a Beach Front Setting and we would like to see very modern/contemporary architecture with tropical flair. I hope this helps :-)
